The Gehlen Catholic Jays take down the George-Little Rock Mustangs 11-1 in the opening round of the 1A Substate baseball tournament.

After the Mustangs put up the first run in the first inning, but then the Jays went went on a run the rest of the game, and with a 7-1 lead in the 6th inning, Gabe Wiltgen hit a grand slam to end the game and send Gehlen Catholic to the second round.

The Jays will play Akron-Westfield on Tuesday in the Substate Quarterfinals.
