The Utah Jazz are going to look like a very different team in 2022-23 after they pulled the trigger on a blockbuster trade deal centered around Rudy Gobert. This major development instantly put Donovan Mitchell's future in Utah into question, as some believe that the Jazz could now be ready to blow up their entire roster and enter a rebuild.

ESPN's NBA guru Adrian Wojnarowski has put these speculations to bed, though. According to Woj, the Jazz are currently uninterested in parting ways with the three-time All-Star as they look to continue to build around him:

“Danny Ainge, Justin Zanik, and Utah's front office, they want to continue to build a roster around Donovan Mitchell,” Woj revealed, via ClutchPoints on Twitter. “… Certainly, Utah, they have shut down any team who's called about trying to trade for Donovan Mitchell. The Jazz are committed to moving forward with him as their cornerstone player.”

Woj also noted in his report that the Jazz were able to acquire a handful of future draft picks in the Gobert deal, which they could include in a package for another trade.

Donovan Mitchell remains one of the top young stars in the league today, and Utah is adamant that they can still compete with the 25-year-old at the helm. In this respect, it would not be surprising if the Jazz make a few more moves this summer to strengthen their side ahead of the 2022-23 season.
