SILVER CREEK, Summit County — All eastbound lanes of Interstate 80 are now open near Silver Creek and U.S. Highway 40 after a semitruck overturned Sunday afternoon.
The area was in complete shutdown with the semitruck blocking all eastbound traffic, according to Utah Highway Patrol trooper Quincey Breuer. A tow truck was en route to help with the cleanup.
The semitruck was the only vehicle involved and the occupants sustained minor injuries, said Bruer. The cause of the rollover is still under investigation.
