Beets Marches On In Kentucky

BURNSIDE, Ky. —  The Valvoline Iron-Man Late Model Northern and Southern Series and the Brucebilt Performance Parts Iron-Man Open Wheel Modified Southern Series competed at Lake Cumberland Speedway on Saturday.

Eli Beets led all 40 laps on the way to the Valvoline Iron-Man Late Model Series win, while Blake Brown inherited the lead in the late stages of the Brucebilt Performance Parts Iron-Man Open Wheel Modified Southern Series and score the victory.

The win by Beets would be his fourth career Valvoline Iron-Man Late Model Series victory and would be his fourth win of the season. 

For Brown, the win was his 10th career Brucebilt Performance Parts Iron-Man Open Wheel Modified Series.

Beets beat Ricky Weiss to the checkered flag in the late model headliner, with Camaron Marlar, Michael Chilton and Ryan King filling the top five.
