ELGIN, S.C. (WACH) —
A magnitude 1.9 earthquake was reported Sunday morning.

At 12:16 a.m., a 1.9 magnitude earthquake was reported three miles outside of Elgin, South Carolina, according to the South Carolina Emergency Management Division.
There are multiple fault systems running throughout South Carolina, causing the earthquakes to occur, per SCEMD.
