Police Beat for Sunday, July 3rd, 2022

Centralia Police have arrested 34-year-old Evan Winkoff for criminal trespass to a residence and resisting arrest.  He told police he was homeless.   Winkoff was taken to the Marion County Jail to await a decision on formal charges.

38-year-old Brett Alcorn, who indicated he was homeless, was arrested by Central City Police for alleged domestic battery.  He was taken to the Marion County Jail.

58-year-old Wally West of West Case Street in Kinmundy was arrested by State Conservation Police for alleged driving under the influence and driving on a suspended license.  West had also been arrested on Friday for driving on a suspended license and had been released on a notice to appear in court.

Salem Police arrested 39-year-old Tyler Dunaway of South Pine in St. Elmo on a felony Effingham County warrant for theft.   He is being held in the Marion County Jail in lieu of $5,000 bond.

Marion County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested 21-year-old Anthony Dickerson of West Bond in Patoka for possession of drug paraphernalia.    He was released on a notice to appear in court.
