Murray-Calloway County Hospital has announced additional dates for their summer Safe Sitter classes.
The classes for kids ages 12 and up will be held from 9 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. on July 23 and July 30 at Murray-Calloway County Hospital, in the Dalton Conference Room, on the First Floor of the North Tower.
The class will include safety skills to prevent unsafe situations, childcare skills with tips to manage behavioral issues, and life and business skills, such as how to discuss fees and how to greet employers.
Registered nurses certified as Safe Sitter instructors will teach the class with fun games and role-playing exercises.
All participants must pre-register online at mccems.aidaform.com/free-course-registration-form. The cost of the course is $20.00 to be paid upon arrival. Registration includes a Safe Sitter® class, course workbook, and lunch on-site.
