BISMARCK (KFGO) – North Dakota Highway Patrol responded to a rollover crash on Highway 83 around 2:30 am yesterday, about 7 miles south of Wilton, ND. 18-year-old Titus Covey was traveling southbound from Hazen to Bismarck when the vehicle ran off the roadway, entered the median, and rolled.
The passenger, Paul Massingill, 19 years old, of Bismarck, was not wearing a seat belt and was fully ejected from the car and suffered serious injuries. Titus was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.
North Dakota Highway Patrol, Burleigh Cty Sheriff’s Office, Wilton Fire Department, Wilton Ambulance, Metro Ambulance. Both occupants were transported to Sanford Hospital in Bismarck.
The crash remains under investigation by the North Dakota Highway Patrol.
