Two people died and a third was wounded in a shooting near Wichita.

Sedgwick County Sheriff's deputies responded to the shooting call around 5:15 Saturday morning in the 4300 block of South Rock Road, between McConnell Air Force Base and Derby. Deputies found a man and woman dead from apparent gunshot wounds. Another man found at the scene was taken to a hospital with serious injuries.
The names of the victims have not been released. Authorities have not disclosed any other information about the shooting.
Rock Road between 39th Street and 44th Street South was closed for hours as the shooting was investigated.
