The North Arkansas Youth Center, located in Cotter, is announcing the opening of the newly re-surfaced outdoor tennis, basketball and pickleball courts as of Friday.
The courts are available to the public between the hours of 8 in the morning and 8 in the evening daily. The courts are located at Warrior Park at 412 Powell Ave.
Handicap Parking is available on site. A recently installed 24 hour surveillance system with cameras on the outside courts are monitored daily.
Two years ago, North Arkansas Youth Center in conjunction with The City of Cotter was awarded a grant for $50,000 by the Arkansas Parks and Recreation Department. The board used that money plus raised another $50,000 in donations from local people to fund the re-surface project.
