SUWANNEE COUNTY, Fla — Florida Highway Patrol officials state that last night at 12:30 a.m. a vehicle was traveling east on US Highway 90 in Suwannee County when a pedestrian began to cross the street directly into the path of the traveling vehicle.

The report states that the front of the vehicle collided with the pedestrian in the eastbound lane and the gentleman succumbed to fatal injuries sustained from the crash.
This is an ongoing investigation that will be updated when more information becomes available.
