He has continued his power surge with the Sugar Land Space Cowboys in 2022.

Julks hit his 16th home run – re-setting his career high – in a 9-3 Space Cowboys loss to the Albuquerque Isotopes on Saturday night.

The solo homer from Julks came just two batters into the game. He leads the Space Cowboys and is third in the Pacific Coast League with his 16 home runs. Julks also extended his hitting streak to 16 games, which is the longest active streak in the PCL. He is just one game away from matching his season-best 17-game hit streak, which is tied with teammate JJ Matijevic for the longest from the Space Cowboys this year.

The Space Cowboys went on to take a 3-1 lead through the third inning. Yainer Diaz had an RBI single in the second and Jose Siri had a sacrifice fly in the third. Siri has driven in seven runs through his first four games with the Space Cowboys.

David Hensley went 1-for-4 with a double and leads the PCL with 20 doubles this season.

Carlos Pérez gave the Isotopes their first lead of the night with a three-run homer in the sixth. Pérez homered again in the seventh and finished the night 2-for-4 with two home runs and six RBI.

The Space Cowboys and Isotopes close out their six-game series at 7:05 p.m. on Sunday at Isotopes Park. It is scheduled to be a rematch of the series opener, with Brett Conine to start for the Space Cowboys and Zach Neal for Albuquerque.
