Fourth of July, Allentown: Start the week with July 4th celebrations. The celebrations and events are numerous in the Lehigh Valley. In Allentown, the Fourth of July Celebration is 5 - 10 p.m. July 4 at J. Birney Crum Stadium, with free entrance to performances and fireworks. The event is a “Red, White, and Blue” day of family fun with live music, entertainment and food. There will be patriotic items given away at gate entrances. The night is capped by a fireworks display scheduled at 9:20 p.m. And, if you find the right vantage point, you can also see the fireworks show scheduled at 9 p.m. at Dorney Park & Wildwater Kingdom. Fourth of July, Bethlehem: Kendal Conrad (above) is one of the featured performers at “Independence Day presented by Embassy Bank” at SteelStacks, Bethlehem. The schedule of free music is: Highmark Blue Shield Community Stage on the Air Products Town Square, 3:30 - 5 p.m., Kendal Conrad; 5:30 - 7:15 p.m., Band of Brothers; 9 - 11 p.m., Big Bone Daddy; Wind Creek Deck, 7 p.m., ArtsQuest Members-Only Fourth of July Fireworks Party; Levitt Pavilion SteelStacks, 7:30 - 9 p.m., The Allentown Band; 9 p.m., Fireworks. Kendal Conrad is a singer-songwriter who sang a duet with Keith Urban at Musikfest and has opened at concerts by Blake Shelton, Alabama and Dennis Quaid.
