Bath (WGME) -- Bath Heritage days is back after 2 years off.
Celebrations kicked off Friday with the Morse High School booster barbecue at Library Park to help fund the school's sports programs.
The festival organizers says she expects to see 3,000-5,000 visitors each day of the event.
"This is something I have been doing since I was a little kid and it's just great to be down here again and to be part of the community again and get out," says Trinity Jacques, Bath Heritage Festival Attendee.
Guests can expect to enjoy law games, carnival rides, an antique car show, and fried dough sold by local vendors.
Bath Heritage days celebrates July 4th with Maine's largest Independence Day parade, live music and fireworks.
The festival runs through Monday.
