BIBB COUNTY, Ga. (WGXA) - A fatal hit and run in Macon is under investigation.
In a media release from the Bibb County Sheriff's Office, investigators say 61-year-old Lee Tukes was hit and killed at the intersection of Eisenhower Parkway and C Street just before midnight Friday night.
Witnesses say Tukes was walking across Eisenhower Parkway when he was hit by a white vehicle. Witnesses say Tukes was then hit by a second vehicle that was behind the white one. The driver of the white vehicle drove away while the driver of the second vehicle stopped. It's believed that the white vehicle was a Chevrolet Camaro.
The vehicle that left the scene was described as possibly being a white Chevrolet Camero.
