WARNER ROBINS, Ga. (WGXA)-- Food, fun, and festivities filled the air for the 39th annual Warner Robins Independence Day Celebration.
Crowds came out to groove to the beat with live music and a concert.
Mayor of Warner Robins, LaRhonda Patrick she was excited to coordinate the event with a refreshed direction.
"This year this event is a little bit different because we wanted to make sure that we appeal to a variety of individuals so it was important to me to have different genres of music so we have the country, folklore, the rock, the pop, and we have the latino music as well so I'm so happy were able to make that happen this year," Patrick said.
Among many of the patriotic festivities people could also walk around to sample local food trucks and fourth of July classics including BBQ, and snow cones.
After the sun went down, the concert was later followed with a fireworks extravaganza.
