Filming begins for Manual High basketball documentary

PEORIA (WEEK) - Filming for a documentary surrounding the triumphs and history of Peoria’s Manual High School basketball team began Saturday.
The documentary is titled Orange and Black: Behind the number. Filming took place in the Manual High School gym where ex-players, coaches and opponents from decades ago recounted their history with the multi-state championship-winning team.
“You’re going to hear the story first hand from different individuals from their point of view and their perspective,” Director Creston Coleman said.
The fun didn’t stop with filming, on Sunday there is a post-interview party at Grand view drive park at noon.
