Two shot in western Pa.: report

Two men shot late Friday night in Aliquippa are hospitalized, according to 11 News.

The shooting happened around 11:18 p.m. at 1200 Main Street. Their condition is unknown.

The City of Aliquippa Police Department were first to respond. They secured the scene and requested the Pennsylvania State Police take over the investigation, 11 News reported.

State police told 11 News that 25-year-old Trevaughn McCoy is accused of shooting 29-year-old Richard Lowe, Jr., during a verbal fight.

Then 29-year-old Davonte Williams, and another unidentified person, returned fire on McCoy, who was shot multiple times, according to the report.

McCoy and Lowe were taken to a nearby hospital. Williams and McCoy were charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, firearms violations, and reckless endangerment. Troopers executed felony arrest warrants for both men.

Charges are pending on the third shooter, 11 News reported.
