Sedgwick County sheriff’s deputies are investigating a shooting incident that left a man and woman dead, and another man seriously injured.
Deputies were called to a report of a shooting around 5:15 a.m. Saturday in the 4300 block of South Rock Road. They found a man on the west shoulder of the road with several gunshot wounds, and he told deputies there were two more victims in a nearby house. A man and woman were found dead inside the house.
The injured man was taken to a hospital in serious condition. Rock Road was closed indefinitely between MacArthur and 44th Street South, and deputies were using K-9 units and drones to search the surrounding area. No other details have been released and the victims have not been identified.
