Funeral arrangements announced for fallen officers

FLOYD COUNTY, Ky. (WYMT) - Funeral arrangements were announced on Saturday for the three officers killed during Thursday’s shooting in Floyd County.

Visitation for Floyd County Sheriff’s Deputy and Martin Fire Department Fire Chief William Petry will be Sunday, July 3, at 6 p.m. at Nelson Frazier Funeral Home in Martin, Kentucky. The visitation will continue all day on Monday, July 4.

The funeral will be held Tuesday, July 5, at 11 a.m. at the Mountain Arts Center in Prestonsburg.

The burial will then follow at Gethsemane Gardens in Prestonsburg.

The visitation for Captain of Prestonsburg City Police and School Resource Officer Ralph Frasure will start on Monday, July 4, at 6:00 p.m. at Nelson Frazier Funeral Home. The visitation will continue all day on Tuesday.

The funeral will be Wednesday, July 6, at 1:00 p.m. at the Mountain Arts Center.

The burial will follow at Gethsemane Gardens.

The visitation for Prestonsburg City Police Officer Jacob Chaffins will start on Tuesday, July 5, at 6:00 p.m. at Tom’s Creek Freewill Baptist Church in Ivel. The visitation will continue all day on Wednesday.

The funeral will be on Thursday, July 7, at 1:00 p.m. at the Mountain Arts Center.

The burial will follow at Gethsemane Gardens.
