It will become partly cloudy in Central Arkansas this afternoon because the humidity has sneaked up a little bit. But drier air should filter back in through the afternoon. With a little higher humidity, South Arkansas will get some isolated showers, but we do not expect rain in Central Arkansas today or this weekend.
Enjoy the lower humidity this morning and all day long. While Little Rock may not officially drop into the 60s this morning, some spots within Central Arkansas may. Little Rock has not been below 70° since June 29. That’s 44 days as of today. Our forecast does take Little Rock to 69° tomorrow morning, which will be 45 days since the last time Little Rock fell below 70°.

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – The issue of recreational marijuana on the state ballot, after a recent setback, has now moved closer to November ballot inclusion. In a Wednesday, Aug. 10, order, the Arkansas Supreme Court instructed Secretary of State John Thurston to certify the ballot title for recreation marijuana in order to place it on the November ballot. This will allow voters to vote in favor or against expanded access to marijuana in the state, removing the medical marijuana card requirement to purchase or use marijuana.
