Three men arrested, multiple weapons seized in Friday night patrol stop

PEORIA (25 News Now) - Police say three men were arrested and multiple weapons were seized during a patrol stop Friday night.

20-year-old Javion Parker, 20-year-old Marquavion Moore and 22-year-old Kaleel Davis were interviewed, arrested and transported to the Peoria County Jail. Three handguns were also seized, including a ghost gun with an extended magazine.

Around 9:30 p.m., Peoria police were conducting surveillance in the 2200 block of South Idaho when they found the three men, all known subjects with outstanding warrants.

Police say they saw Parker discard a loaded handgun before he was detained. The gun was recovered, along with two others during the course of the investigation.

Police say Parker was arrested for Possession of a Firearm by a Felon, Aggravated Unlawful Use of a Weapon and No FOID. He was also arrested for Armed Robbery and two outstanding warrants, and is still in custody.

Police add Moore was arrested for an outstanding warrant and was released on a $1570 bond. He is scheduled to appear in court July 20.

Davis was arrested for a previous Residential Burglary case he was wanted in connection with, and is still in custody.

Parker and Davis have bonding court scheduled for July 5.
