Florida Highway Patrol investigating another serious crash on Morse Boulevard

The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating another serious crash on Morse Boulevard.

The crash occurred at about 1:30 p.m. Saturday on Morse Boulevard near Rio Grande Avenue. A witness said a vehicle took out a street light, hitting the post on the passenger side, according to a witness.

It was the second serious accident on the busy thoroughfare which has long been a concern of residents living north of County Road 466.

A 70-year-old Village of Mira Mesa woman driving a Yamaha golf cart was seriously injured Thursday when she turned into the path of a van on Morse Boulevard.
