On July 2, right after midnight Pennsylvania State Police from the Chambersburg Unit attempted to preform a traffic stop on a 2007 Honda motorcycle driven by Lesley A. Scott.
Police say when they used their emergency lights and sirens, Scott ignored them causing the pursuit to start.
The pursuit went on for about 23 miles in total and reached speeds over 100 mph, according to police.
At around 12:38 a.m., police say Scott crashed into a marked officers patrol unit while driving south on the 200 block of South Antrim Way in Greencastle Borough.
As a result of the crash, Scott sustained serious injuries which were non-life-threatening, according to police.
Scott immediately received aid from police and EMS on scene then for further treatment was transported to the York Hospital.
