A motorcyclist died in a head-on crash in Corinna Friday night.

Police say 60-year-old Merle Page of Corinna was driving north on Route 7 around 6:30 p.m. when he crossed the center line into oncoming traffic, hitting a Chevy Silverado head on.

Page was pronounced dead at the scene.

He was not wearing a helmet.

Police say the driver of the Silverado and his 8-year-old son were not injured.

This is the 19th motorcycle-related fatality in the state this year already.

Compare that to 21 in total last year.

The crash remains under investigation.
