Portland’s Saturday weather offers clouds, high about 75; some rain could arrive Sunday

The Portland area should stay dry Saturday, but there's a better chance of rain Sunday.

Could the rain actually return this weekend?

The National Weather Service says you should expect at least some scattered showers on Sunday.

As for Saturday, the morning is cool and cloudy, but the day will stay dry in the Portland area, and the temperature will warm up in time for an outdoor brunch or a late morning hike.

The daytime high is expected to land around 75 degrees Fahrenheit, with a decent amount of sun in the afternoon and only a light wind.

The overnight low will be about 58.

Sunday will see a high of 71 and a 20% chance of rain.

More good news from NWS Portland: Northwestern Oregon’s “significant wildfire potential” at the moment now stands at “below normal.”
