CORINNA (WGME) -- A motorcyclist died in a head-on crash in Corinna Friday night.

Police say 60-year-old Merle Page of Corinna was driving north on Route 7 around 6:30 p.m. when he crossed the center line into oncoming traffic, hitting a Chevy Silverado head on.
Page was pronounced dead at the scene. He was not wearing a helmet.
Police say the driver of the Silverado and his 8-year-old son were not injured.
Maine State Police Investigate Fatal Motorcycle Crash in Penobscot County
The State Police were assisted on scene by the Penobscot County Sherriff’s Office and the Corinna Fire Department.
