63-Year-Old Man Killed After Motorcycle Crash in Readfield, Maine
A 63-year-old Farmington man died in a motorcycle accident Saturday night after he crashed into a ditch in Readfield , Maine. A 911 caller reported the incident to authorities around 9 p.m., saying the headlight was still on the motorcycle in the ditch near 234 Old Kents Hill Road in Readfield. The 911 caller said a man was not breathing and was unconscious near the motorcycle, according to WGME.

Man Found Dead Following Overnight Fire in Baileyville, Maine
A 67-year-old-man was found dead early Friday following a fire in the Washington County town of Baileyville. The Baileyville Fire Department was called to a fire at a home at 24 Summit Street in the downtown area at 12:12 a.m., according to Public Information Officer Shannon Moss of the Maine Department of Public Safety. Firefighters discovered a deceased adult inside the home.
The County Open and Mars Hill Open Results From The Weekend
The weather was near perfect this past weekend for golf and two local courses held tournaments with cash prizes and bragging rights for the year up for grabs. Many tournaments are left on the schedule for the remainder of this year so it's not too late to step up your competitiveness on the course. Mars Hill Country Club hosted the Mars Hill Open and Va Jo Wa Golf Course in Island Falls, hosted The County Open scramble. The County Open held an individual tournament on Saturday, played at the Houlton Golf Club.
