The Winston-Salem Dash kick off their week-long homestead against the Wilmington Blue Rocks on the Fourth of July.
As part of Monday night's game, the team has some planned some special events. Brian DeAngelis, president of the Winston-Salem Dash, joined WXII live on-air to preview the night's activities.
There's a special post-game fireworks show presented with the City of Winston-Salem. DeAngelis says it will be double the length of the Dash's usual post-game fireworks, and patriotic-themed.
Foothills Flight Deck's grand opening is also on Monday night. It's the first time fans will be able to experience the brand new bar and viewing area.
DeAngelis says extra seating has been added to include a larger crowd, and there's additional themed in-game entertainment throughout the night.
First pitch is at 6:30 p.m., and gates will open early at 5 p.m.
