The Mountain Home Lockeroom American Legion baseball team came up just short in its opener in the Glen Winget Memorial Tournament Friday in Bartlesville, Oklahoma. The Lockeroom was edged out by Springfield Hillcrest 2-1.
Mountain Home will continue action in the tournament on Saturday as their next opponent will be the Elk City Mudcats from Oklahoma. The first pitch at Bill Doenges Memorial Stadium is scheduled for 12:30.
