Where to watch Fireworks Displays this weekend

In celebration of the Independence Day holiday, several firework shows are set to take place this weekend.

On Sunday, the City of Flippin will host its 35th annual Flippin Fireworks Festival at Hickey Park. Day time activities include a bounce house and water slide for the kids, the wall of water by the Flippin Fire Department and a patriotic ceremony with presentation of the flags during the National Anthem.

KTLO, Classic Hits and The Boot will also be live with the treasure chest from 4 to 6 Sunday evening. The concert begins at 6:15 with a performance from the local group, Shotgun Divorce, followed by Tyler Braden.

The fireworks display will begin at approximately 9:15.

Lake Norfork’s 37th annual Independence Eve Fireworks will take place on Sunday between the 101 and 62 Bridges. The fireworks display will begin at dark with music broadcasted on 99.7 The Boot.

In Calico Rock, a community celebration day will be held starting at 3 at Calico Rock King Park. Activities include water slides, duck races, a dog pageant, BBQ cook-off, and a special tribute to the military.

In Theodosia, the 40th annual Fireworks on the Lake will take place over Bull Shoals Lake beginning at dark.

On Independence Day the Fireworks Show on Bull Shoals Lake and VFW All-American Independence Day Celebration will take place.

A parade will take place during the day, ending at the VFW where the celebration will take place with food, games and music. The fireworks will begin at dark.

In Salem a celebration will take place with food and music prior to a fireworks display over the lake at the Salem City Park.

A fireworks display will take place in Mountain Home on the 4th, put on by Driftwood Lanes, beginning at dark.
