Sharon House Little, age 68, of Rineyville, KY, passed away Wednesday, (June 29, 2022) at Baptist Health Hardin Hospital in Elizabethtown, KY. She was born on December 5, 1953 in Louisville, KY, the daughter of the late Guy T. and
Myrtle Ruddell Rice House.
She worked as a nurse at various medical institutions for 30 years. She first studied at ECC and then received her Nursing Degree from the University of Kentucky. Sharon later went on to receive her Master’s Degree from the University of Phoenix. She enjoyed taking care of her family and extended family, which included her special nieces and nephews. She was an avid University of Kentucky Wildcat fan, making sure she watched every basketball game they played. She loved flowers and enjoyed spending time with her cats, Jack and Jill. Sharon attended the Unity Pentecostal Church.
She is survived by her husband, Gary Little and daughter, Katrina Little-Coffey, both of Rineyville; special loved ones she considered as her own, David Stone, Tammy Glover, and Earl and Chastity Hancock; grandchildren, Aaron Little, Anna Little-Coffey, Katelyn Little, Bryson Barbar, Brett, Brian, Jeremiah, Akami, Earl Jr, Tyler, Chelsea, Sierra and Klrissa; two
sisters, Karon Capp and Mildred Kathy Campbell; three brothers, James, Tom and John House; and several nieces and nephews.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her “mom and dad” who raised her, Howard and Cuba House; her beloved Aunt Dee, brother, Charles Bubby House and sister, Mary Ellen Tennelle.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, (July 5, 2022) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. Nathan Lowe will be officiating. Burial will be in the Embrey Cemetery.
Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until time of services.
