Here's how to volunteer for free admission to Country Stampede
"If you volunteer during the event, you get a wristband for the day that you showed up," said Connor England with Top Teer, which organizes volunteers for several events in Topeka. "If you volunteer prior, you can stack those days.
"So we've seen a lot of people will volunteer the week prior and they'll get three shifts, and that will give them access to the full festival."
The stampede is looking for volunteers to help in such areas as parking, helping with hospitality tents, setup and teardown.
To sign up and choose an area, go to the volunteer opportunities option of United Way's website and look for Country Stampede.
