Hip Cookeville Concert Series kicks off tonight

COOKEVILLE – The Hip Cookeville Concert Series kicks off its four-show season this weekend with two performances to celebrate the holiday weekend. The Friday, July 1 show features the World Turning Band and the music of Fleetwood Mac. The Saturday, July 2 show will feature End of the Line and the music of the Allman Brothers Band. Both shows will be at the Cookeville Performing Arts Center (CPAC) and begin at 7 p.m.

Tickets are still available for both shows here. A discount package with guaranteed same seats for each show are also available.

The third show in this year’s concert series is the return of Forever Abbey Road on Aug. 26 at 7 p.m. Forever Abbey Road is comprised of four professional Nashville musicians who work hard at creating a unique ​show that demonstrates what the Beatles might sound like if they were around today with current technology and modern rock energy. 

Cookeville favorites, The Petty Junkies return to CPAC on Sept. 3 at 7 p.m. to wrap up this year’s series. The Petty Junkies band is made up of professional musicians and artists who have been very successful in their own right. Well over 300 hit songs have been penned, played on, sung, or produced by the members of this band. we guarantee you’ll hear are his greatest songs performed as closely to the original releases as possible without the aid of supplemental computer tracks in a live, high energy setting.
