Inmate missing from Community Corrections Center-Lincoln

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Authorities say an inmate is missing from the Community Corrections Center-Lincoln.

Seth Straub failed to return to the facility after he left for an approved work assignment in the community.

Straub began his sentence of three to five years on April 6.  He is serving on a conviction of theft by unlawful taking or disposition out of Hitchcock County.

He has a parole eligibility date of July 28 and a tentative release date of July 19, 2023.

Straub is a 23-year-old white man, 5-feet-10, 210 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.

Anyone with knowledge of his whereabouts is asked to contact local authorities or the Nebraska State Patrol.
