Obituary for Peggy Bond Clark
Peggy Bond Clark, age 82 of Pulaski Virginia, passed away at her home on June 30th 2022. She was born on October 16th 1939 in Sylvatus Virginia to the late Bernard and Ida Reynolds Bond. Peggy was a lady of great faith who lived a loving and caring life, caring for others, as well for animals as she did growing up as a child, and as a Registered Nurse in her adult life. She became a Registered Nurse in 1962 when she graduated from the Pulaski Community Hospital Nursing School, where she worked in the Operating Room, for 20 plus years, and as a Nurse at Radford Arsenal Plant Hospital, and several local nursing homes. She enjoyed canning, sewing, cross stitching, crocheting, as well as an excellent play by ear piano player.
Peggy was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Roger M. Clark Sr., brothers Ralph, Fred, and Bernard “Toots” Bond Jr., and a sister Jane Kemp.
She is survived by her son, Roger “R.M.” Clark, Jr., of Pulaski. Daughter Norma, and her husband Alan Anderson of Dublin, and two grandchildren who she loved and adored, Bethany and Thomas Anderson of Dublin. A special nephew R.J. Bond, and many other nieces, and nephews, and a special sister- friend Marie Babb of Pulaski.
The family would like to thank Dr. Knotresha Stewart, and staff at RiverValley HealthCare Associates, and the ICU and Fourth Floor Nursing staff at Montgomery Regional Hospital, and Carillion NRV Hospice.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the Pulaski County Humane Society, or to the Joy Ranch in Wytheville Va.
The family is in the care of Norris- Stevens Funeral Home in Pulaski, visitation will be Wednesday July 6th from 5 -7 pm at Norris- Stevens Funeral Home, followed by a memorial service, with a graveside service on Thursday July 7th at 3 pm at Highland Memory Gardens in Dublin, with the Reverend Michael Bond officiating.

Loved Peggy so much. Worked with her at Pulaski Healthcare center but we were friends before that. She will be greatly missed. Praying for the family.

My love and sympathy is extended to Peggy’s family at this time. Peggy was a dedicated, caring nurse at Pulaski General and the new Pulaski Community Hospital. She was a wonderful lady and I enjoyed my working and friendship with her. Norma, my love to you and the family at this time. Prayers for your comfort.

Norms I just heard about Peggy. I always had great respect for her as she was a very caring nurse.
