The Algonac Lions Pickerel Tournament fireworks show has been moved to Saturday night due to rain.
“Sadly, and due to the conditions of the grounds and continuing rain, tonight’s fireworks are being rescheduled for tomorrow night,” the Algonac Lions Club said in a Facebook post Friday afternoon.
The show, put on by Great Lakes Fireworks, is now scheduled to light up the sky over the river at 10 p.m. Saturday.
The 84th annual Pickerel Tournament kicked off in downtown Algonac Thursday and runs through Monday.
Saturday night’s forecast calls for partly cloudy skies.
