Beer pick: XX Cream Ale, Starry Eyed Brewing, Little Falls

Starry Eyed Brewery is the first craft brewery and only brewery in Morrison County. It is located between the Highway 371 and Highway 10 split. The next time your heading up north to lake country stop into Starry Eyed for some tasty brews and bring a growler with to your destination.

XX Cream Ale gets the name from being nearly twice as strong as a regular Cream Ale weighing in at 6.8% alcohol. The beer has a light yellow-gold color with a white creamy head. It has a grain-like aroma with spicy hops. A lightly sweet cereal grain flavor greets the palate with a light creaminess. Hops shine through in the back of the flavor and add a mild spiciness and refreshing light bitterness. XX is a flavorful easy drinking beer that pairs well with a beautiful sunset. Deceptively smooth but made for sipping so you do not end up tipping.
