Elizabeth Olsen Has Still Not Seen Doctor Strange 2

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness was a huge success at the box office as it grossed around $950 million. The film also set an impressive record when it debut on Disney+ recently which also just shows that a lot of people worldwide have seen the latest MCU entry. However, there is one significant person who still has not seen the film and it's the Scarlet Witch herself.

During her recent appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Elizabeth Olsen admitted that she still has not seen Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness despite being one of its main stars. However, she did clarify that it's not one of the cases where she doesn't want to see herself on-screen. She just didn't want to see the film on a screener after skipping its screening at the premiere due to a cold.

"I’m not one of those [actors who doesn’t watch her own movies]. I’m one of those people who likes to study something so I can figure out how to make it better," Olsen said. "But I had a cold when we had the premiere and I didn’t want to sit through it. And so I asked them to send a copy so I could watch it, and it had my name on it and it had the time that I was watching it, and I didn’t want to watch it like that."

Olsen added that the screener had her name, time, and date which she finds "distracting." When Fallon noted that the Marvel screeners usually have a watermark for security purposes in case of piracy, the actress responded, "How do you even do that? Who do you even send it to? How do you even record it on a computer?"

While it might be jarring to hear that Olsen has not seen the film, she stated some understandable reasons that we might get a pass on. You can argue that she could have seen the film in a theater, but perhaps she had a busy schedule in the past several weeks or she wants to avoid being noticed by the audience.

Luckily, the film is now available on streaming so there is an excuse for her to see the film at any time that she wants and finally find out why a lot of fans are gushing over her performance in the film. Since she stated that she does watch herself in a movie, we can pretty much guess that she will finally be able to see the film very soon.
