Very pleasant Fourth ahead of showers & storms Tuesday

More sun and comfortable temps on the Fourth

Hello everyone and thank you for joining us for Storm Watch. Nine weather on the Web. I meteorologist Mike Hanna and hopefully you've enjoyed the beautiful weather we've had on this sunday and hey, guess what? Not only will it be dry and comfortable for fireworks displays tonight, but tomorrow bright skies again and nice warm temperatures, although we'll be *** little bit cooler right along the media coast. The next system holds off until Tuesday. Most of the rain and storm action should be in the afternoon and Tuesday night. That's all associated with this system lining up in the upper Plain States, upper midwest that begins to approach, but again, not until Tuesday most of it in the afternoon. But this is our weather overnight tonight throughout the day on monday with *** few clouds moving in during tomorrow afternoon, but it should do nothing more than maybe filtering the sunlight, blocking it out *** little bit at times late day, but *** lot of sun to be had On four July tomorrow. *** lot of steam heat in the deep south. But across New Hampshire it is pleasantly warm when nice low humidity after *** muggy start to this holiday stretch today and again tomorrow, very, very dry. So overnight tonight with clear skies and *** light northwesterly wind. We're gonna bottom out below 50 in the great North woods fifties for many and then right around 60 along the coast and in downtown Manchester. Fourth of july tomorrow, tough to complain about this. We're going to be in the mid upper seventies from Plymouth points north near 80 in the Lakes region and the upper Valley. Maybe *** notch above that and conquered in the Monadnock region. Of course, any of the higher terrain will be *** little bit cooler and drier in place. The average rule here is about 5, 5.5 degrees for every 1000 ft that you do go up. So again, if you're in places like Washington in southern parts of Sullivan County, that's well up there, add say 1000 to 2000 ft. You're talking about temperatures about four or five degrees cooler and up to 2000 ft maybe 10 degrees cooler in the lower seventies. Speaking of seventies cooler with the sea breeze at the coast. But pleasant there for tomorrow. Here's *** look at the boat and beach forecast winds will be out of the west, northwest about 8 to 14 knots. That's during the morning and early afternoon. And then the winds likely will kick on shore later in the day. Ocean temperature averaging about 60. Late temperature. Keep in mind it's an average, some spots are in the mid seventies, others in the upper sixties, and your high tide at Hampton Harbor comes up close to four o'clock in the afternoon for Tuesday, more unsettled, partial hazy sun, lots of clouds at times seventies north, but 80 south and the best chance of showers and storms line up during the afternoon and Tuesday night by Wednesday, any early morning clouds will give way to clearing turns *** bit breezy and pleasantly warm, with seventies north and along the coast in eighties elsewhere.
