PITTSYLVANIA COUNTY, Va. (WFXR) — The Pittsylvania County Sheriff’s Office needs the public’s help to find the owner of a car that is connected with the deadly shooting that happened in the Sutherlin community last weekend.

Deputies say that a white Ford Mustang was seen leaving a party at 1220 Kerns Church Road, where eight people were injured, including one person who was killed. The incident happened at 1:30 a.m. on Sunday, June 26.

The sheriff’s office is asking if you have seen the car or know who it belongs to call 434-432-7931. You could receive up to $5,000 in reward from the Pittsylvania County Crimestoppers for information that leads to an arrest and conviction of those involved.
