Sheboygan County’s 4-H organization will be hosting a summer youth leadership camp from July 10-13 at Upham Woods in Wisconsin Dells. The event will utilize youth leaders who prepare, plan and facilitate the summer camp experience for campers’ grades 3-6.
The young leaders will be supplemented by adult volunteers trained by the Youth Development Institute of UW-Madison, specifically the school’s Division of Extension. In addition to leadership training the camp will feature more traditional summer camp activities like swimming, archery, crafts, and nature programming.
Campers don’t have to be members of the 4-H organization to attend. The 4-H Summer Camp registration fee is $200. Transportation to the Dells will be provided as buses will depart from the fairgrounds in Plymouth at noon on July 10th.
