A NEW family-owned Italian restaurant will bring Italy to 280

Calling all Italian food lovers! Get ready to experience the authentic taste of Italy in Birmingham at the new Italian restaurant, Capella Italian. According to Harbert Retail, this family-owned Italian restaurant will specialize in custom-wood-fired pizzas. Keep reading for more details on what’s instore for this new pizzeria.

What to expect

Each pizza will be cooked at 800 degrees in specially designed ovens that come from Italy. Plus, each pie will be ready in less than two minutes. Owner, Mehmet Ozbey, is ready for Birmingham to have a little corner of Italy.

We bring to your table a flavorful journey to the cultural experience of true Neapolitan pizza and cuisine. Capella’s menu is simple—nine signature pizzas, salads, Italian wines, international bottled beers and desserts.”

According to Ozbey, they’ll import many ingredients from Italy, including:

• Cheese
• Extra virgin olive oil
• Flour
• Pepperoni
• Sausage
• Soppressata
• Truffle oil

Plus, the sauces will be made with San Marzano tomatoes. 

Italy in Birmingham

This 4,860 square-foot pizzeria will feature Italian music, long community-style tables + European soccer on their TVs. This way you can feel like you’re right in Italy. You will be able to find them located in Inverness Village when they open.
