Two D.C. men are being charged with armed robbery after police said they held a man at gunpoint and robbed him, according to the Town of Vienna Police Department.
A Vienna resident reported that he was robbed at gunpoint in the 300 block of Cabin Road SE on April 9. At the time, police said the unknown suspects left the scene immediately after the robbery.

With help from residents with security camera footage, search warrants, and electronic data, officials were able to identify Damond Albert Brown and Ilon Edward Coles Melson, both from Washington, D.C., as suspects in the case.
On June 6, police obtained arrest warrants that charged Brown and Melson with armed robbery. The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD), with help from Vienna police, took Brown into custody on June 22.
While searching through Brown’s residence, police found a fully loaded firearm on his bed. Brown is now waiting to be handed over to the Commonwealth of Virginia.
On June 28, the MPD and Vienna police took custody of Melson and transferred him to the Commonwealth of Virginia.
