ATHENS, Ohio (WCHS) —
An elderly man was killed Thursday after his tractor overturned in Athens County, Ohio, troopers said.

A 74-year-old man was driving a farm tractor westbound on State Route 681 when it went off the roadway then back on before overturning onto its top, according to a news release from Ohio State Highway Patrol.
The crash was reported just before 8:30 p.m. Thursday south of Albany.. Troopers said the man was pronounced dead at the scene.

Alcohol or drugs are not suspected to be a factor in the crash.
