ROANOKE, Va. (WSET) —
A fire ignited inside an apartment building in Roanoke Thursday.

Crews responded around 3:30 p.m. to the 500 block of Sixth Street SW.
Smoke and flames were seen billowing from the building.

Investigators determined the fire was accidental and is blamed on a faulty heating and air conditioning unit.
