Fairbury Fair Talent Show taking place Aug. 20

FAIRBRURY — Entires are being accepted for the annual Fairbury Fair Talent Show, to be held on Saturday, Aug. 20. The talent show is divided into three age groups: Junior, 10 and under; Junior, 11-14; and Senior, 15-21 years of age.

Any group or individual performers are invited to compete in the contest. Contestants are limited to those who live with a 50-mile radius of Fairbury.

Winners in each division will receive the following awards: 1st place, $75; 2nd place, $45; 3rd place, $25. All contestants will receive ribbons for participation.

The top scorer from the combined Junior Division and the top scorer from the Senior Division will represent the Fairbury Fair in competition at the annual meeting of the Illinois Association of Agricultural Fairs in Springfield in January of 2023.
