Motorcyclist killed in West Cocalico Township crash
A man was killed in a motorcycle crash Thursday night in Lancaster County.The crash happened around 8:30 p.m. in West Cocalico Township in the 300 block of South Cocalico Road.The Lancaster County Coroner's Office identified the victim as Matthew Stoltzfus, 20, of Gap. Ephrata Police said Stoltzfus turned into the opposing lane of traffic on a 90-degree turn and hit an oncoming pickup truck.Stoltzfus was pronounced dead at the scene. The coroner's office said he died of multiple traumatic injuries and ruled the manner of death as accidental. The crash is under investigation. Ephrata Police are asking anyone who witnessed the crash to contact Officer Nixon at 717-738-9200 x 260.
