We are about to have a long holiday weekend on the 4th of July so we know that you are looking to get out there and do something fun for the holiday.

We have done some research and found all sorts of things that are going on in the Southwest Louisiana and Lake Charles area.  So let's give you the 411 on things that are going on.

Koozies Daquris and Sports bar is located at 2622 Hwy 14 in Lake Charles will have Rusty James Friday night and will be playing from 8:00 pm to 11:00 pm. Then on Saturday night, they will have DJ Mekhanik will start at 8:00 pm.

The city of Lake Charles will have its Red, White, Blue, and You celebration on Monday, July 4th at the Lake Charles civic center amphitheater. They will have live music from Charlie Wayne, Gyth Rigdon, and fireworks.

Daughtry will be live at the Golden Nugget's Grand Event Center on Saturday, July 2nd. He will hit the stage at 8:00 pm.

JP Primeaux will be at Rickenjacks on Ryan Street Friday, July 1st starting at 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm. Robin Prejean & Bluesiana Red starting at 9:00 pm.

Red, White & Boom is taking place in Moss Bluff from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm located at 265 Jones Road. The event will include a firework show, food, and live music by the Flamethrowers.

Trinity Baptist Church located at 1800 Country Club Road in Lake Charles will host it's annual I Love America event on Sunday, July 3. I Love America is a celebration of faith, family fun, food, and fireworks.
