NORTH AUGUSTA, S.C. (WJBF) – Police responded to an Armed Robbery in North Augusta early Friday morning.
It happened around 3:40 a.m. at the Waffle House on Georgia Avenue.
The suspect, described as an unidentified black man in a black mask, fled with an undisclosed amount of cash from the register.
Investigators believe he fled the scene in an unknown vehicle into Georgia.
It’s believed the suspect’s mask was found in the middle of a nearby roadway.
